About fifteen minutes. You are shown real situations from working life — a caselet where something has gone wrong and you choose what to do next, a timed reasoning item, a short story where you pick the version closest to how you would have handled it.
Some answers you type. Some you speak, and that is deliberate: how someone lands a point out loud is not visible in anything they type, and it is one of the few things about a CV that can be assessed rather than asserted.
The questions you see are chosen for your function and your level of experience — a fifteen-year sales leader and a two-year analyst are not assessed on the same things, and are not asked the same questions. Two people in the same role rarely see the same set.
It is not a screening quiz. Every situation in it comes from twenty-five years of interviewing candidates professionally — which questions actually separate people, and what a strong answer sounds like next to a rehearsed one. Reasoning is keyed against a right answer, spoken answers are judged on our servers, and a signal is reported as evidenced only when two independent points in the run agree. Fifteen minutes assessed this way puts more scrutiny behind three lines of your CV than the other two pages have ever received.
Nothing is scored in your browser. Your device sends only which item you saw, which option you chose, and how long you took. The answer key never leaves our servers, and neither does the scoring. This matters because a credential your own laptop generated is not evidence of anything — see the methodology.
A phone or a laptop, a working microphone, and somewhere you can speak at normal volume for a couple of minutes at a time. Headphones help. No camera, ever — we do not record video and there is no proctoring.
Your run is saved as you go. A dropped call or a closed tab does not cost you the assessment, and you are not charged for an assessment you did not finish.
The first thing you see is not a chart. It is a written summary addressed to you — what came across, what you did well, and what a reader of your CV would still have questions about.
Behind that sits the signal detail: eight areas, each marked Evidenced, Indicated or Needs further probing. Not scores out of ten, and not percentiles. A band with a specific example behind it is something an assessment can genuinely support. A decimal place is not, and pretending otherwise is how these tools lose credibility.
Everything in the report is free and stays in your member space. You are not charged to read anything about yourself.
Upload a PDF or a Word file — including a scan or a photograph of a printed CV, which is how a great many CVs in India actually exist. We read it and show you every role and every line exactly as you wrote it, unedited.
Then we tell you what is missing. Not opinions — facts a screening system would notice and never mention: a role with no dates, a section that stops halfway, fifteen responsibilities that belong to no particular job.
We also list what is on your CV that does not help you and may quietly harm you — a date of birth, a marital status, a photograph, a height and weight. We record only that those fields were present, never what they said.
This read is free, and it stays free. It is you looking at your own document. If you do not want to upload a CV, nothing else stops working — the offer simply stays open for whenever you do.

Your CV is rebuilt into a document that does two things nothing else on the market does together.
You choose the shape that suits your situation — a straightforward reverse-chronological CV, one that leads with capability for a career changer, and a small number of others. A handful of shapes, each tested against real parsers, rather than hundreds of designs that look varied and break in the same three ways.
If you want a version with your photograph for sending to a person directly, you get that too, as a separate file. We will not delete your photo and call it an improvement; we will tell you which document to send where.
Afterwards you can have the same CV tailored to a specific job you are applying for. That is a different piece of work from a reformat, and it is priced as its own thing.
Every completed Snapshot mints a credential with its own ID and its own verification link. It is free, and it stays free. You can put it on a CV, a profile or an email signature, and anyone who follows it sees what the assessment evidenced — and, just as clearly, what it did not.
It is written by our servers, not by your browser, and it cannot be edited afterwards by you or by us. You control one thing about it: whether it is shared, and you can withdraw that at any time.
