This Privacy Policy explains how Xpert Lab AI Private Limited ("we", "us"), CIN U63119HR2026PTC143382, registered at Ambala, Haryana, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use XpertCareers (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Parts of the Xpert Lens assessment ask you to answer out loud, and your microphone records you while you do. That recording is sent to Deepgram, Inc. (United States) to be converted into text, and the text is then assessed. Your voice is used to work out what you said and how you said it — nothing else. It is not used to identify you by voice, it is not compared against any other recording, and it is not shared with any recruiter or employer.
The assessment cannot be taken without this, because a spoken answer is the evidence. If you would rather not be recorded, do not begin the assessment, and any payment is refundable under section 3 of our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
To generate analysis and coaching, the text you submit is sent, through our secure Cloudflare Worker, to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing. Spoken assessment responses are transcribed by Deepgram before that text is assessed. This data is used only to produce your results and is not used by us to train AI models. Your self-uploaded content is stored only in your own account and is never added to any recruiter or shared talent pool.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication). We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service — Google Firebase (hosting/data), Cloudflare (hosting and application processing), Anthropic (AI processing), Deepgram (speech-to-text), and Razorpay (payments) — under their respective safeguards. Some of these providers process data outside India, which is permitted under the DPDP Act subject to the restrictions it sets out. We do not sell your personal data.
Nobody, unless you decide otherwise. Your report and summary are yours. A credential is only visible to someone you give the link to, and where the Service offers to release assessment evidence to an employer, that requires your explicit consent and you can withdraw it afterwards.
You have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to grievance redressal. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below.
We retain your data while your account is active and as required to provide the Service or to comply with legal obligations. On account deletion, we remove or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirement.
We use industry-standard measures including authentication controls and encryption in transit to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use only essential cookies and local browser storage required for sign-in and core functionality. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
