These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the XpertCareers platform at xpertcareers.com and related applications (the "Service"), operated by Xpert Lab AI Private Limited ("Xpert Lab AI", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India (CIN U63119HR2026PTC143382), with its registered office at Ambala, Haryana. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

XpertCareers is an AI-native career platform. It provides the Xpert Lens assessment and the credential issued from it, a diagnosis of a CV you upload, rewritten and job-tailored CV documents, a fit read against a job description, and AI coaching. Outputs are generated using artificial intelligence and are provided as informational guidance only. We do not guarantee any employment, interview, placement, hiring, or career outcome.

Xpert Lens measures behaviour demonstrated during an assessment. It is not a verification of employment history, qualifications or identity, and it is not a reference check. Assessment evidence describes what you did in the assessment; everything else on your CV remains your own account, and is presented as such.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. What is free, and what is paid

Seeing your own results is free. You pay only when the Service makes something for you — including when it reads and restructures a document you supply.

• Free, with no credit cost: your assessment report, your plain-English summary, your credential, the CV Check — which runs entirely in your own browser and reports what a recruiter’s software receives from your file, in what order, and what it drops — the gaps named against your assessment evidence, and the fit read against a job description.
• Paid: made things — the CV diagnosis (1 credit), a rewritten Xpert CV, a CV tailored to a specific job, an interview preparation pack, a role comparison, and a thirty-day plan. A second and any further CV Check on the same account costs 1 credit; the first is free. The price in credits is shown on the button before you press it, and nothing is charged after the fact. The CV diagnosis is included in a rewritten Xpert CV and is not charged twice.

5. The Xpert Lens Snapshot

An Xpert Lens Snapshot is priced at ₹100. Your first Snapshot is offered at an introductory ₹10, once per person. Paying it entitles you to one Snapshot; it does not add credits to your balance. Your credit balance begins at zero and is used only for the paid items listed in section 4.

If a Snapshot cannot be completed because of a fault on our side, your entitlement is restored and you are not charged again. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Credits

Credits are a prepaid, in-platform balance. One credit costs ₹10, the smallest purchase is 5 credits (₹50), and credits do not expire. Credits are consumed only when you request one of the paid items in section 4. Credits have no monetary value outside the Service, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Purchase, use and refund of credits are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Do not upload personal data of any third party without a lawful basis or that person's consent.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose, or to scrape or resell outputs.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding content you submit), is owned by Xpert Lab AI and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your CV), and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

9. AI disclaimer

AI-generated analysis and coaching may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or employment advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Google Firebase (authentication and data), Cloudflare (hosting and application processing), Anthropic (AI processing), Deepgram (speech-to-text for spoken assessment responses), and Razorpay (payments). Your use may also be subject to their terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xpert Lab AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ambala, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to the Service.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
